gday all
can anyone tell me what extension i need for my uhf.
at the moment i have the unit mounted in the roof console & want to mount the mic on the dash.i have a phone line with a
junction box for the 2 male ends.
this phone line only has 2 wires in it whereas the mic cord has 4 lines.is there a phone line with 4 lines in it or is there another way?

I had to replace a GME mic cord a couple of years ago due to a broken wire - I just used a telephone handset cord - ie. the one between a phone and the handset.
It's coiled, and had the right number of wires, was a fair bit longer and had the rj11 plug already.
One of those and a rj11 female-female adapter should do for an extension cable.

You should be able to buy an extention from GME as they come standard with most of their radio's nowdays we fit them at TJM out of the box.
