Hi there
Well we are confused as to whether we buy the
Tambo - Cooper or from Casuarina campers. Does anyone out their own any of these who can give me the positives and negatives. Just to let you all know the "Bushman Camper" from
Southern Cross canvas in Bayswater is actually a trailer made by Casuarina trailers with a
Southern Cross canvas on it.
thanks all James

Hi James again
Answered your previous question together with other very happy Cooper owners,
I can't say anything about the Casuarina, as I do not own one, but I have a Cooper and can not fault it.
The trailer construction is stronger than any other, and as for the canvas, they are the only ones to have this quality.
Its a simple camper ( no frills ) with fantastic quality, at a great price.
Cheers

Thanks for that info. What type of Kitchen did you get? Also did you organise 12Volt set up with them?

Hi James
Yes we got the Kitchen on the tale
gate ( not the role out model) with the Cooker, I understand you can get an extension (work bench) for this model.
The cooker is very good and half price compared to other
places.
We don't have the 12volt set up or the
water tank, my budget was restricted for something very standard.
hope this helps.
Cheers.

James
We have had a Casuarina for a couple of years now and are very happy with it - had no problems at all. At the time we looked the
Tambo had a bit more of a "home-built" look about it, if you know what I mean - by comparison the Casuarina looked great.
As far as canvas goes, I am sure you know that Casuarina uses Sothern Cross canvas, and that is supposed to be the Rolls Royce of canvas.
We found Lochie great to deal with, and making a few (small) changes to his trailer was no drama.

Hi thanks for that feedback.
We decided on the
Tambo due to the fact that it is a lighter unit, simplistic and more suited to what we want. The Casuarina is
well specked out and looks good design wise, and the canvas is terrific. Both campers were neck n neck. Thank you for your advise. James
