I hope someone can help me name a location. A couple of years ago we ventured onto a
grass patch along the
Ord River on the backroad from
Wyndham. A
hill and a drop
toilet right on the
water. Can anyone put a name to this for me.

Could be Buttons Gap, it has a bit of grass with a long drop close to the
water or it might be
Mambi Island boat ramp.It has a long drop on top of the bank going down to the
boat ramp and has a large grassy area.We used to
camp there heaps, lovely spot.

Thank you all for the responses, looks like I can now put a name to my dream destination! Lost the biggest barra I ever set eyes on a little further down river when we did a charter in 2005. We also drove past Parry's
Lagoon and had lunch there.
I just can't get this place out of my mind and have every intention of revisiting probably in 2011 - I know a long time between visits but I'm still looking to even the score with that barra!
