Makes you wonder when people will learn from past examples to stay with there car when they get into strife.....but It keeps happening??

Glad to see both Mother & Child are OK, travelling across country is a
bit risky, she must of had some skills to get her Bearings.

Yep, and her mother instinct kicked in to protect her child. As already stated, it just reinforces the advise to stay with your vehicle if you get in to strife. Nice to know it all ended up OK

I think the interesting part of the story is where the policeman stopped for a
toilet break in the middle of nowhere and while contemplating the distance saw a women and child walking past.
No matter how deserted the place is, or how long it is since the last vehicle went past, stopping for a relief break without a handy bush to hide behind nearly always results in embarrasment!
