Holy Chit Batman!!!
Must have been one hell of a grommet in the floorpan.
Lucky there was no passenger.
Geez, that is a real safety issue.

Shezzes,
I don't know what to say.
How big are the grommets in the floor of those things?
At a guess, I'd say the hole is a lot bigger than what it use to be.
It'd make ya jump ;-)

Hi I can associate with that, nearly, we were doing
Googs track a few years ago in the "L" model Subaru and up near the
Malbooma end along the fence near the
gate, I must have ran over a broken sleeper in the sand , and it went up between the drive shaft and motor and the end went into the join in the floor where
the hump started and poked in to the cab , not far but we could not get it out, took a long time to cut it out with a hacksaw, so could easely happen,
Cheers Des.
