Travel Bribie Island To Adelaide

Does anyone have a suggestion for an interesting or maybe different route for this trip? We will most probably head off in early February, return by the great ocean road and east coast.
We will be towing our Avan camper and would prefer to stay on sealed roads. Estimate we have about 6-8 weeks.

Pop,

Try going through the high country in Victoria. We were returning from Sydney to Adelaide via the coast. It was so crowded we quit that plan after one day and headed for Mt Hotham. Ended up buying a place at Dinner Plain. Second best thing we ever did.

Many thanks Doug, we did the Great Ocean Road by coach some years ago and think we would like to do it again at our own speed.
I shall take heed of your suggestion should we run in to strife!
