I have not got a firm date yet so can not post the trip. Was looking at doing a weekend round trip
Cairns to Archer Point via coast road, overnight at Turkey Point and back through the inland Rd.
The Reason for this trip would be to share the 4x4 track into Turkey Point North of Archer Point. Not for the faint hearted as it is a narrow brush lined track, some steep sections of root covered clay and a rockbar or two to cross. Result is a
camping location that can be out of the strong winds When needed with pristine
water and
views. When given the right wind you can catch Coral Trout off the rocks. Cheers Tony
