Now this is the ultimate long shot but you never know so here it is.
About a fortnight ago we were in the
Cordillo Downs shed and then on the way out stopped at a
creek for lunch, now that is the last place I can recall having my Sony Video Camera. There is one small chance though as I have the coordinates as it was a lovely spot to
camp. They are S 26 44 782 E 140 51 962. So there it is with my fingers crossed.Image Could Not Be FoundImage Could Not Be Found

May not be such a long shot.
I just this morning returned a digital camera to the BIL of it's rightful owner. It was picked up on the
Warburton Track about 10Km down from the
intersection with the Rig Rd.
So ... ya never know ... keep those fingers crossed.
Cheers

Well while we're doing lost and found. The following were lost by my offsider on our trip last year. Now I know it's been 12 months but......you never know.
1. Pair of reading glasses at Fireman's bend - Hattah Kulkyne (about 14/5/07).
2. Blue polar-fleece jacket with ciggies and lighter. (Deibel Hills - Canning) Late May 07
3. Blue bum-bag containing digital camera and keys to the Pootrol - Either the
Cable Beach Caravan
Park or the track to
Cape Leveque (July 07). This one really hurt!
I've forgotten the other stuff. Would love the key to the Nissan back tho!
Hope you get a positive result Mal and Di.
Cheers
Mick

Mick
I'm going to Hattah NP tomorrow so I will keep my eye out for your glasses and if I find them (and they don't suit my eyes) I will give you a call. Where was it exactly you lost them.
I think you will have to staple things to yourself to stop losing them (I keep trying to lose the wife but she keeps finding her way home).

Cheers Rod. Bloody hell you're a brave man...either that or she doesn't get on the internet too much. Wasn't me losing things mate. I'm a bit too organised for that (some may say anal retentive lol). It was the mate who was travelling with me at the time. Firemans bend was where he lost the glasses. Here's a photo of the silly bugger looking for them. Image Could Not Be Found Copy and paste these coordinates 34°40'12.93"S, 142°29'45.35"E into Google Earth and it'll give you the exact location. Things are just magic up there at the moment. I was there two weeks ago (as per my blog post on the
Murray sunset . Must get the rest finished. Have a great trip and watch out for all those lizards on the move.
Regards
Mick
