Hi all

Just wondering if anyone can help out as to which winch is the better, a Magnum 9000lb or the Ironman 9500lb?

Have had the Ironman winch for about 2 years and happy with it. Have used their gear for 4 years now (suspension kits, winch, lights) and it has been excellent, as has their level of service. The remote on the 9000lb whinch I have is a great addition. Used to great effect here. Blogged it Here.

Cheers

In this months 4WD Action magazine an extremely large--
(11 page ) detailed comparison of 10 of the most popular winches
very informative and possibly just what your looking for.
Goodluck.

Anything made in China does not worth even touch with stick. I have SOOOOO MAAAANY personal examples that I would avoid anything made of metal in China as much as I can. Sadly with each year it became more and more difficult.

YMMV

Winch which came out best in the 10 tested by 4WD Action was a Premier 9000lb--no indication of price in article though.
