Hi Truckster:
Nope, there are definitely land owners on Fraser .. by a strange coincidence I was talking to a guy this week who is considering buying someone's place there. I *think* there are no new land/property releases planned, but those that have it can keep it, sell it, rent it etc.

We had some friends who sold thier termite infested humpy at Happy Valley about a year ago for $180 k, probably worth a lot more now considering how real estate prices are.
Orchid beach was probably the last major land sale about 10 or so years ago. If I remember rightly they were selling for around $60 k back then. There is some nice houses up there over looking the ocean.

In 1988 I saw land at Orchid beach for around $30,000 and thought - who would want to pay that much money and live all the way up here???
