Hello everyone,
Need a place to fish. Heading from
Meningie to Mt Gambier over the next week. Must be in Gambier Monday arvo. Looking for some local knowledge on where to fish along the coast. Been a bit hard coming down thru the centre without anywhere to fish after fishing up north. Mind you good country just the same. Any advice on good spots would be appreciated. Somewhere the girls can fish aswell would be great. Plan to get as much fishing in as possible ( yes I know you hate me lol ) So don't really want to waste to much time looking for a spot to fish. Thanks in advance.

The
Glenelg river is not far from Mt.Gambier ,
Nelson is a good little town with jetties to fish from ,and lots of
camping areas nearby along the
Glenelg . Pt MacDonnel is South from there with ocean fishing...
Portland to the East has good fishing from the Lee breakwater area..the snapper are starting to appear...cheers
