Hi there, I 've just bought a Pajero NL 98 in very good cond. and 145,000 Kms on the clock. 've booked it to be converted on the 4/12/98 by a company called Metropolitan Autogas , Albion Qld and they will install a "sequent lpg injection system) My question is: would anybody out there be able to tell me if there is any side effect in this particular model and what sort of savings would I get as currently I am getting 14-15 lts x 100 kms on ULP) Thank you for taking the time to help me...CLemi

you will use about the same lt per hundred, so your savings will be the difference between the cost of LPG v unleaded.
In
Sydney at the moment, the difference is about $0.45.
So assume an after rebate cost of $2500 you will need to do about 40 000 kms to break even. Then you are saving money
based on 14lt unleaded @ $1.05 = $14.70
15lt LPG @ $0.60 =$9.00
Difference of $6.00 per hundred Kms, so $60 per thousand Kms, $600 per 10,000kms
= $2400 for 40,000 kms
This will be less or more depending on your installed cost
Cheers Stefan
