To ALL
Have mate over from
Perth, has vehicle problem ?
Can anyone out there, direct to a place that we can get a bottom radiator hose for a 1986 Toyota Soarer, model 3.0lt Turbo, 7MGTU engine.
And before you say go genuine, that bit is not on the agenda, as Toyota can only go back as far as 1988.
Cheers in advance
Bucky

My obvious answer to him was to set up your own, using generic hoses, and some bits of aluminium tube.
That should get him home.......BUT when he gets back to
Perth, the problem is still there

Bucky, don't know if this will help you, but this mob are in
Sydney and can access Soarer parts. My son has a "93 sitting in the shed, needs a power steering pump which is proving to be elusive to find.
Jap parts specialists.
He has found that parts for these are as rare as r#cking horse manure.
Good luck mate
Fred.

Toyota (and other manufacturers) are not usually interested in spare part support for "
grey imports".
However, there are clubs eg Toyota Soarer club, that could be approached for help.
Also, the
grey importers themselves sell spares for common varieties like Soarers.
Do a Google/Yahoo search using key words such as Toyota & Soarer & Club and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm guessing you're in
Melbourne right now. Try calling Crossover Conversions on 03 9753 5799. They do a lot of work with 1991 and later Soarers, may be able to help you.
