Hi, have been looking around to purchase a shower/
toilet tent. the coleman one looks like a good unit, my question is how difficult are they to put up and back down again?

Hi Julio, i have no idea how hard/easy they are to put up/down, but we have been using one of those flick out style
toilet tents.
I find it quite ok but the wife has brought up some interesting points.
She points out that there is no where to hang a towel, or her dressing gown when taking a shower without them getting wet.
second, there is no mesh floor to stop creepy crawlies coming in.
you also need something to hang a light on and the shower head.
hope this helps , shane.

No idea about the Coleman , but the round pop up type go up in seconds and once you get the hang of it they fold up just as quick...we have 2 , one forthe shower and one for the loo. They take up very little space as
well which is a bonus when you are trying to save on space....cheers

Is that the one with the frame built all around it like this ???(see pic, sorry only one i could find at short notice )
if so i have one -- its pretty quick to set up -- a bugger to pull down and put back in the bag - i dont bother any more -- i just break it down and throw it in the Jayco
Advantage over the other type is that the sturdy frame is great for windy areas or on
the beach - i had the other style and it only lasted 6 months .... floor clips in and out via plastic clips on elastic and it has a neat hole in the top for the shower to come through - 4 LARGE windows with fly screens --
mine gets good usage from sand to bush .... never clean or take care of it .. has been in 30 knot winds....
would i buy the same again if this one ends up destroyed .... you betchya .....

We've got a round pop up one and it's fine once you learn how to drive the thing! Hadn't put it up for a few years when we were at
Cape Range, and I impressed our travelling companions by putting it up in seconds. Then, after we'd all showered, I gave another demo. on collapsing it.
Well. After wrestling with the mongrel of a thing for about 20 mins.,and getting nowhere, I had a captive, loudly laughing audience, and, I discovered, just as I got it down properly, all my efforts had been recorded on video!!! Hope I remember, as it hasn't been erected for a couple of years again!!

Fairly easy to put up n down.
Ours went thru a storm n suffered quite badly, but some stitching and a pole kit and it lives again.
First
sign of storm or high winds, drop them down. tent that is...lol

Hi Julio, i have two of the coleman ensuite tents with a metal frame as my sister has that bl**dy annoying one that folds up and down,
well suppose to. they are see thru ish so to counteract that i put a tarp around it. the coleman have a
metal pole to hang your towel and clothes, your scrunche or lofar on same pole and the frame can hold the shower head with the showers supplied clip. I went to bunnings and bought a tray which catches the
water and recycles. also bought some cheap clip together foam mats for shower to put in both tents so as not to get the feet to dirty after showering.
Easy to put up and pull down, rather that then the hassle of crocodile wrestling with a twisting contraption.
cheers

If your still trying to fold it up after that time then your as crazy as i am.
i tried and tried and tried for half hour once, then just threw it on the trailer and yeah 12 months later thing was still as i left it at my sisters place!
the only time i have ever quit on something!
thats why i went with the poles and rope thing!

ahh shaker 15 seconds PLUS the Rays Outdoors ones that you cant do hmm methinks you are fabricating evidence hehehehe
If you can fold a band saw blade you can fold up one of those tents

Brought a pop up one last year and set it up in our lounge just to see how it went. 40 minutes later we still couldn't fold the bloody thing up so left it to show our daughter that night.
Blowed if she didn't fold it up in 2 seconds. Then showed me the trick and now we put it up and down in seconds. No Problem.
Send a cheque and I will reveal the secret.
Cheers Rod

Called in to Anaconda and they were holding an fun comp of setting up and packing up a pop up shower tent.
Had
mine up and down in seconds. It's just like folding up the band saw in the butcher
shop.
Walked out the a free $80 shower tent
instructions
standon bottom of the spring.
twist and fold in to middle
push the top through to the bottom and hey presto.
give it a try

We have a similar shower/
toilet to this, just a different brand.
Very easy to pop up and open, and in the morning to fold up.
And that seems to be the issue with a lot of people, they try and fold them. You must roll and twist them closed.
Have had ours for 4 years now, and believe me we have been thru some very nasty weather. Never a problem
Takes longer to peg it out, than put it away
30 seconds to pop it open, 1 minute to roll it up and put away.
Cheers
Bucky
