I heard the news about what was spent on bloody crackers to decorate the Harbour Bridge!!. 5mil???. Did i not hear a hospital closed its doors in this state this year???, and that thing with the spiked hair said it was money well spent!!, Got me stuffed!!.

Anyway this will get moderated, ..Lol. But, someone might be injured in a holiday accident, and have to wait for treatment due to the lack of funds to support the various departments.

Anyway! as quoted on here before,:" thats life in a state of disrepair"

Might just put another Bream on the BBQ!...lol.

Cheers Axle.

Axle. I agree with you mate. What a giant waste of money with all the dollars spent on parties. Us, we had to work so early to bed and early to rise for work. Can not beat the Atherton Tablelands though, lifes great here without the waste as well. Cheers Tony

Yes , clover moore ( spelling?) was seen on Tv saying that she may have spent $5mil but we will get that back 7 fold in tourism $$

that's great , but as the OP stated -our health care system is in need of some serious $$.... lets see the tax money from the tourists funding our health system ....

Boc

P.s drove my nissan today ( keeping it on topic :)

Hey Axle,
Well, this year I had to be in Sydney, (Sister in hospital after a double transplant, and is recovering unusually slow).
Anyway she wanted a decent pic from the night. I did the right thing and obliged. Spent the night with over 1 million others........ It really did feel like an oversize cattle truck.
This is the result I got.
