They look good to troopy, might get a pair of those to hold down the Evakool fridge to the slider !Need something smaller than the other ratchets and a bonus (lockable)

I have a pair of the SPT straps and they are very good indeed.

Will stop the opportunist thief from opening the straps, or cutting through them easily.
They are quite compact and I criss cross them, one running front right to left rear and the other front left to right rear, going over Both the canvas rack bag and the Oztent mounted along the left edge.

The deadloc brand seems to have similar features apart from the ratchet handle and should serve you well.

The SPT straps have a low profile lock button release with a rubberized covering giving scratch protection and were originally designed for securing surfboards to roof racks.

Warfer, where abouts did you get them? You maybe able to get them keyed alike by a locksmith? Thanks in advance. John

I hadnt seen the Deadloc straps but have been using the SPT for a while now. They are brilliant. Tie whatever you want to the roof, and leave them there whilst at the shops, beach etc. You can be certain they will still be there when you get back.
Not sure how you'd go about getting spare keys cut or replacing the barrels? They are made by an Aussie company in Qld so give them a call, you probably wont be the first to have asked about it.
