Low Life Scum

I went out to re attack the difficult recovery exercise see http://forum.australia4wd.com/index.php?showtopic=15734&view=getnewpost only to find some low life scum had broken into the bogged Rangie, taken my high lift jack, used it to jack the Rangie and steal my brand new Maxtrax, so now I am down about $500 plus the costs of running around, and the bloke I was trying to help can't get his cars out.

If anyone knows a bloke in Townsville with a tribe of kids, who drives a White Troopy with orange and red "swoops" (a bit like the Nike swoops) on the side of it...I'd like to "talk" to him.

Bastards.

I know exactly how you feel. Scum broke into our factory a few months back and it is infuriating. You bust your arse to make a quid and these dogs just waltz in and pinch your stuff without a second thought.

Hope you get to have that talk;

To quote the Fonz

"I'm gonna have a convo with him with my fists"

Keep your chin up mate.

Jim.

Dave,
Good course of action would be to get this story published in the Townsville bulletin, they may run the story if you explain you were helping others. I am sure a Troopy with those markings would stand out.

Sorry to hear and will say that has gotta suck, been on the wrong end of lifters. Did someone spot his vehicle at the rangie? for you to know it was a troopy. The driver is really setting a fine example for the kids in the vehicle hmmmm.

How many cars you gotta get out?

Hope you can get your gear back and to chat with the person I'm very happy to do the personal approach and seek reason why a low life gutter snake stole my gear, and leave with an ensuite of a chat with a fist, but how do you PROVE the gear is yours? that's why I like the data dots to ID my gear.

Working on getting all my gear labelled.

Brian

Having suffered this before, there is little I can do to prove what is mine. Both the jack and Maxtrax where brand new, ready for next season and unlabelled.

I've folded on getting the cars out- which is rather unfortunate for the two owners.

I won;t go into how we know who took the gear on a public forum. I'll leave that little bit of info for the cops.

Cheers all

David

Hi David

I'll keep an eye out for the "Troopy with red/orange flashes". However, I'm sure the cops will also be watching for it.

Malcolm

Darrell - what suburb you in. I'm Bushland Beach next to the pub.

Thanks for that. It is a sad comment on our society, that the cops simply don't have the time or resources to look for the vehicle.

Darrell

I'm not sure if I can travel THAT far. ;-)

I'm only about 50 metres - between the pub and the shop. You'll see two Patrols and the caravan in the yard. Drop in sometime.

we are in Australia after all ..
a couple of days ago someone bumped into my daughters merc.
Left a phone number (probably somebody watched), but the phone number is disconnected. This is now 5 times in 3 years somebody bumped into one of our cars and took off .. Never happened to me in Europe that somebody did not leave valid details.
have fun

Maybe you and your family should learn to drive properly instead of blaming everyone else.

In all incidents the cars were parked.
You have just proven another point ... very well indeed.
