Talking to a friend this morning and she is looking around for a hard floor camper trailer, with a kitchen but wants to have the big awning that can have walls too........I couldnt think of much and the only hard floor CT I can think of are those campomatics and they aren't that big. They have to small boys - 6 and 2 - so need space but not heaps.

Can you think of another CT that has those things???? She was looking at caravans - but hubby doesnt want one - cos of the comfort thing . They are looking to spend somewhere between $5 - $10k (2nd hand of course)............

I cannt think of anything - thought you might be able to

Dave,

You are correct. I have a 2000 Aussie Swag which I purchased for $12K and anticipate a return of $12 +++ when I decide to sell, if I ever do.

Hard floor campers are far better investment than the current superannuation returns.

She would be better with a soft floor camper with that budget.
More living space & far more storage, particularly with kids.

she didnt say about age just as long as its in good nick (ie canvas). I think she needs to go have a look at different ones set up first though cos I dont think they have seen too many set up, except their relo's (they spent $15k and didnt even get a kitchen)......

Hey Laura,

I just pruchased a campomatic hard floor, 95 model for $10500, great heavy duty trailer and yes the annex section is fully enclosed, it is a bit small but I plan on getting it extended for a lot less than spending the big bucks on a new one.

They have a great kitchen, heaps of internal space and are well laid out, hope this helps.
