GME antenna

hi
I have a GME 4705 antenna which needs the cable replaced. I cannot work out how to remove the spring on it

can anyone give me some advice

Remove the grub screw on the side and unscrew the antenna radome. You can then use a socket on the connector inside the spring to remove it from the spring base (the coax will feed through a hole in the base of the spring and bolt).

You can buy all items that make up the complete antenna as seperate items. The connector inside the spring comes with 5m of coax attached (part number is at work so can post it tomorrow).

Please do not put on connectors if the coax is accidently cut or breaks as this will introduce attenuation and allow an entry point for water. Replace the whole coax assembly to preserve reliability.
