Thought you lot might be interested in this...
Mr Al. is fitting the cruiser with a device so that when I go to drive off with the spare wheel carrier unhooked [personally I don't think I leave it unhooked..it just like happens..:)] an alarm will sound in the car alerting me....
Mr Al just informed me he was going to fit a kill switch on the car, so that it wouldn't start, but didn't want to have to deal with the call "Al the car won't start"...hehehe...
What a guy..no wonder he's Wombat's hero....

G'Day Mrs Al, Us blokes are often accused of being tared with the same brush and I know if I do something freely for the CEO, I usually have an ulterior motive in mind so watch out. You know how many parked cars I have almost destroyed with the spare wheel left open? Waved down a guy at the BP in
Mansfield a couple of weeks ago who was about to do the same thing. Definately a great idea.Cheers,

Wazza...I have a reputation in Romsey...the amount of times I've driven around here with that thing swingin in the breeze is incredible....I don't even need to
check these days...I just see the look of terror in people's faces and automatcially pullover and fix the thing...
I'm starting to think there might be some sort of tab going on in the pub for the amount of days in a row since Mrs. Al last went past with the tyre loose.
And what's really embarrassing is when Al spoke to the Auto sparky about it....he just said "you probably know..Red Landcruiser..tyre swinging...." and the guy knew me !!!!...then Al said "the guy's at the Servo know her;" :) [but I'm sure that's only because I get my Gas there!!!]
I shall keep you posted on the progress...the lad looking to the wiring now...

Its got me beat why such a device is not fitted as a "standard" practice if this is such a common action...I could easily do it I reckon .....geez I've been known to not tie my laddres down only to see (

my other half has tried to leave the garade before the roller door is up...so I know thngs like that can happen to anyone. Geez I was not impressed when she did that though.

Richard..my dad was in hosp not so long ago..and the car park is one you pay to park in..anyhow...I was on my way out, and woman was on her way in...and tried to beat the boom
gate [and the attendant I guess] and the
gate came crashing down on her car...!!!...God that made me feel good....esp as she was trying to explain how it happened...ahhaha...buggered up the system for 5 minutes though....and she had to sit there looking at me opposite her laughing at her...[I couldn't help it..I honestly couldn't]Laugh alot..life's too short not to....
