Just got told by local camping supplier that Cobb has hooked up with BCF, and BCF will be the only sellers of the Cobb products.
If this is true, and you are planning on purchasing Cobb products soon, make sure you have access to a BCF
shop,
Cheers
Ian

Would be an interesting move I guess, however saying that on my frequent visits to different camping shops Cobb is not a product that I come across that often.

The Australian distributor is having a fight with Anaconda who are
grey marketing them. Cobb's disti say they are possibly fake but on the phone they admit these are genuine, just imported directly from Cobb intl with no warranty support from them.
I guess they struck a deal to control the market more.

Considering BCF isn't that wide spread around Australia, COBB would be shooting themselves in the foot if they sold exclusively through them.
At least SuperCrap Auto is much better known, so why don't they stock them? (since supercheap own BCF)

No BCF stores in South Australia, or Tasmania.
I agree that Cobb would be shooting themselves in the foot if they withdrew their product from the current distributors in these two states in particular.
Oh, and I doubt Cobb would wind up their on-line sales facility.

we have local BCF and Rays Outdoors knocks them off all the time on price. BCF have heaps of wrong stock for the region and none of the right stock lines for the region. Rays Outdoors 26 1/2% off sales make BCF top dollar store. Rumours locally BCF store is likely to close.
