Well we finally picked up the new Tambo Camper yesterday and have spent the day today trying to fit all our gear in. We have been living in a bit of a home made unit for a year getting wet when it rained and blown away when windy.

We got the Cooper XTwith most of the options so we have tons of room now and can get out of the weather when needed. Pure luxury.
Thanks to Keith and Amanda at Tambo. Great people to deal with and the trailer looks to be excellent. Also thanks to those members who helped us with insurance, Registration etc. If anyone needs insurance try Affinity. They are also very easy pleasant no fuss people to deal with. I don't mind giving people a plug for good service. Hard to come by these days so it is most welcome in my book. Cheers. See you on the road.

Trying to post some pics but have no idea. Tried to insert the photos but can't get him to work. If I figure it out I will.

Yeah that's it. XT stands for extend. The camper is about a metre larger and if you get the annex that is the same. It's huge! It works out roughly the trailer/bed length by about 3 metres.

K&J, well done, really looking forward to picking ours up as well - not until May but well worth the wait! We also went for the XT after much debate will check out affinity - thanks for the tip...

if you could see the green eyes - wish it was us picking our now now, in time for easter!

Hi Jas. We waited for what seemed like ages but well worth it. We have been living in a camperfor 12 months now that I built from an old 6x4 box trailer. Bought a top which was made from cheap canvass not much better than having a bed sheet over us. Rain came straight through and in strong winds bits kept breaking so we are in heaven right now. Like moving from a shack to a mansion.

Hi Guys. Got some photos to work. Probably get into strife for making them too big or something. The old busted arse camper is in the background.

We have had our Tambo for nearly three years now, we love it. As you said Amanda & Keith are great to deal with, nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.

I am sure it will provide you with many memories as you travel around this great country.

Cheers

Kirk and Jeanette,

Now I am even more forlorn, but glad you have yours up and are happy with it. I still have 27 days and umpteen hours until I pick up my Tambo Cooper !!! The 4 month wait has been killing me !! Amanda & Keith have been great to deal with, the couple of changes I have made along the way were no issue at all to them.

I have been wondering which insurance company I will go with. I'll have a look at Affinity.

Cheers,

Dave
