Anyone just back from Fraser and know the current barge prices from
Inskip Pt? Are there 2 barges still running. Off in 16 days and counting!

Yep, still 2 running. We recently used the Manteray (green machine). It was $65 per vehicle return, or $95 with trailer. That was during the school holidays so it may have gone down since.Smile, you're on ExplorOz

well, the price of getting there is worth it.

Added to the "driving" permit and the camping fees (ignoring fuel), it cost us $27.50 per day to be on the Island. Not too bad for a family of 4. Of course, if you were only going over for a day it'd be a different story.Smile, you're on ExplorOz

I agree re: day trip. But for 2 of us for 8 days, the cost is easily accounted for. Best $20/day holiday one can buy!
