Anyone just back from Fraser and know the current barge prices from Inskip Pt? Are there 2 barges still running. Off in 16 days and counting!

Yep, still 2 running. We recently used the Manteray (green machine). It was $65 per vehicle return, or $95 with trailer. That was during the school holidays so it may have gone down since.Smile, you're on ExplorOz

Wow, that has gone up. June 2002, they were $30. Oh well, the price of getting there is worth it.

15 days and still counting

Added to the "driving" permit and the camping fees (ignoring fuel), it cost us $27.50 per day to be on the Island. Not too bad for a family of 4. Of course, if you were only going over for a day it'd be a different story.Smile, you're on ExplorOz

I agree re: day trip. But for 2 of us for 8 days, the cost is easily accounted for. Best $20/day holiday one can buy!
