I am wanting to hire an Off Road CT for 8 weeks from July this year for an outback trip, we are looking at buying, but would like to try first. I had in mind a hard floor variety like the
Kimberley or Oddessey. Does anyone have any ideas of where I could hire one from in NSW, around or south of
Sydney would be great.
Thank You
Margaret

Hi Margaret,
The
Kimberley dealer in
Wollongong had hire trailers when I bought
mine in 2007. I would say that they still do. They are called Express
Tools and Camping and are located in Unanderra.

Hi Margaret B
I can't help with the hire, but depending on finances, you could be better off buying a used one and selling it on completion of your holidays.
Hiring for 2 to 4 weeks may be good value, but a longer term hire may be costly unless you can do "a deal" with the hiring company.
The $3500 plus on 8 weeks hire would probably be less than a slight loss on a resale.
Cheers and good luck.

We are considering hiring ours from
Darwin. We are not quite ready yet but could get organised if there is interest. We have a
Kimberley Kamper Mariner and an Ultimate Camper.

If we go ahead with this my wife will join as a business member and advise hire details.
Cheers.

Hi Margaret
Try
http://www.sydneycampertrailers.com.au/
They are off road campers. Reasonable prices and they also sell 2nd hand trailers. You may be able to do a deal with hiring one then at the end of your hire, purchase the trailer.
They are awesome people - more than willing to help and years of experience with off road camping etc.
Ask for Bruce or Celina. Bruce is mad as a hatter and will have you in stitches laughing at some of his antics - can't recommend them highly enough.
Good luck :-)
