ExplorOz Team - Damian
Hi everyone,
IE8 is now released and although there are mixed results (and emotions) on using this new browser with websites using dynamic content such as ours, we have found that ExplorOz.com does behave reasonably
well in Compatibility Mode. This button is positioned on the right hand side of the address bar.
We are not endorsing nor encouraging you to download the latest Internet Explorer, because IE7 works just fine - in fact works much better than the successor. We are however letting you know there is a solution. We are also trying to fix these issues with the new IE8 browser, and this will take some time.
Cheers

Looks like I won't give it a bash
We're sorry, but you won't be able to download Internet Explorer 8 for Windows 7 Beta at this time
Windows 7 Beta already includes a pre-release candidate version of Internet Explorer 8 that is optimized for that release. Windows 7 enables unique features and functionality in Internet Explorer 8 including Windows Touch and Jump Lists which require additional product tests to ensure we are providing the best Windows experience for our customers. We will continue to update the version of Internet Explorer 8 running on Windows 7 as the development cycles of Windows 7 progress and plan to include the final version of Internet Explorer 8 in the release candidate version of Windows 7 later this year. For the latest information on Windows 7 visit the Windows 7 site.

I've been running IE8 for a couple of days and ExplorOz works fine. I haven't need to switch to Compatibility Mode though.

IE isn't my browser of choice Damian. Most web pages work
well with Chrome or Opera. I occasionally have to use IE 7

I even hated IE7 and reverted back to IE6 which is more user friendly for older brains...lol.
I also use Firefox and Chrome.
Cheers

Yeah, me too Willem
IE6 works just fine and I have no desire to upgrade until I have to.
Use Firefox only when IE6 has response problems with ExplorOz, which happens on the odd occasion.

I am not a computer techie, but am very pleased with IE8, I downloaded the beta version several months ago and it has got beter and better. I think it is excellent and I would not go back to an earlier version. The "compatability" mode works
well and quickly renders websites which haven't been written or updated for this product.
Cheers
