now I'm being a sticky beak...
after listening to you blokes going on about you wished you had a Mrs. Al type [wasn't aware I was a type!] and it was your birthday..and your wife, partner, lover, etc said to you.."this year I have a gold mastercard [and we don't have to pay it off] you can choose 1 thing either for your 4x4 or to do with your 4x4" what would you choose..?Laugh alot..life's too short not to....

I agree with Wherethehellawi,
I would replace my 3F engine in the 80 Series Cruiser with a turbo diesel.Just Do It!

Gday Glenn
How about one of those 1uzfe 4.0 v8 lexus motors? $1200 from Japan?
(Same block as the 2uzfe 4.7, so cruiser auto will bolt up)

Lyn, I'd choose a Mrs Al, but I doubt there's another to be found. So, I'd settle for a 6.5 litre Chev TD fitted into a nicely tricked-up GU patrol, to tow my 4x4.Smile, you're on ExplorOz

it would have to be either a tractor beem or a hypnotist ,a tractor beem to drag the wife into the passangers
seat or the hypnotist to convince her that 4wding is the ducks nuts.

wife,partner,lover,etc.....I would really like to know what the ETC stood for :-)
But that aside............I would choose an unlimited supply of fuel and hit the road......put another 100,000k on the old G60...........it will be one loooong camp. Every night a different spot. Go and see the parts of Oz I haven't been to.
