If you lost your job???????????????...You have all the time in the world to do a safe trip to WA, if you go through, Drink only bottle water, as they have a problem with the lead fallout over the town,
Cheers for now...William H...Bunbury...WA.

Do you really need to go to
Port Lincoln?
It's a nice place but with only three weeks to do a return trip, you could save some time and travelling distance by heading across the Eyre Highway via
Port Augusta,
Iron Knob,
Kimba,
Wudinna,
Minnipa and
Ceduna.

Have to agree with Sand Man about the time you can cut off by bypassing Pt Lincoln, and yes you can turn off at
Pygery.
But DO NOT go to TALIA but continue on the bitumen to
Port Kenny and then to
Streaky Bay. Lovely caravan park at
Venus Bay and call into the
Port Kenny pub for a feed of KG Whiting and say hello to my cousin Willie.
All of this said , NEXT time go to Pt Lincoln and the rest of the Eyre Peninsular and take your time. You wont be disappointed.
M.

Why not go to Talia? i know it used to be a hidden gem but i think the secrets out. ive seen pics of dreaded boardwalks etc there.
same as Dolphins beach You used to need to have local knowledge to get to this ultra reliable
salmon beach by taking the old closed dirt road into
venus bay then accross a few farmers padocks before taking the left turn to Dolphins beach whereas the right turn took you to mt camel.
now there is a road straight to dolphins beach with the mis named sighn Mt camel beach

Talia is the place where my parents met,so I think it is fantastic.
However in the context of what our friend said about having only three weeks I think the bitumen will get him anywhere a lot faster.
And as I said the West Coast needs a lot more time including the misnamed
Mount Camel Beach.

Ah that
pic which comes up in the link brings back memories.
deep holes rather than gutters close inshore. cast to far and you go over them. That hole in fron of the people will have yellow eye
mullet at their feet, a bit further out will be thick with tommies and that hole will be teeming with small/medium salmon
