Sir Kev & Darkie
It is a tough job but someone has to do it ,)
Next weekend is Queenslands Labour Day long weekend and I am heading to
St George to do yet another Recon of the area in readyness for the Gathering in September, I think I will need some pills after the weekend as Mark G is heading over to assist in the Recon.
I should be able to post some Pics of the camping ground and directions on how to get there (with GPS Co-Ords).
I am going to start cutting firewood as
well while there so there will be no need for any firewood to be bought with attendee's.
The cut firewood will be stored in a secure location in readyness for the gathering, I am sure Mark will love to help cut the firewood after recovering from a minor hernia operation after the EO Backyard blitz outing he help out with hahahaha
For those still interested in attending
you can register here.
I have already recieved on raffle prize from Member Jeff O, a Jerry can full of Diesel :)
Cheers Kev

G'day Kev
Some blokes have all the luck. I'd love to come and help with the cutting of wood but alas someone down here has to protect the fishes.
I have polished (read dusted) the horseshoes + added another mid size set for the mid size attendees. Same rules as last year - Gold coin donations to play.
I'll be bringing a case of wine for prizes as at
Innamincka - that's already in the garage under the house.
I hope to get away on about 8th Sept to go out to the Simpson, do a double crossing and then get to
St George for the Gathering.
Give me a call if there's anything I can help with (from a distance of course)
Cheers

Joh,
I reckon it will only take a couple of hours to cut at least three times the amount of firewood I took to
Innamincka LOL
I am sure there are a few EO folk honing their horseshoe throwing techniques in readyness for the Gathering
Looking forward to catching up again
Cheers Kev

John, I am already practising my throwing.
Just using a few split rims and aiming at the Hills Hoist.
