Mate and I are heading to
Lake Eyre from
Tweed Heads 8/5/09 via
Thargomindah,
Innamincka,
Leigh Creek,
William Creek do the fly overs of the
Lake then wind our way back via
Birdsville. If anyone else is going this way at the same time like to make contact as its our first time out that way. We are not in a rush and want to see highlights on way and enjoy the experience.

Hi Colin
I am heading out from
Tamworth on the 3rd May for
Carnarvon gorge and back to C'ville, Thargo, and eventually to
William Creek &
Lake Eyre. From there I am going to
Oodnadatta to spend a week in
the painted desert. Like you it will be my first trip in that region, so if you want to meet up some where that would be good. I plan to be away for 8 weeks, so I am not in any hurry.
Cheers
Jim

Jim
We are looking at overnighting in Thargo on 10/5 at this stage. Our flight is booked for 14/5 out of
William Creek and we will spend 2 or 3 days around William Crk if you email me I will give you our mobile numbers and I should have the satellite phone number later this week when the new SIM card arrives. We will be in the Ford
Ranger with Adventure Camper tray top.
Regards
Colin
