I'm heading around Aus with my wife - but she will be at a conference in Sydney for a week, which is why I'll be doing the lithgow-broken hill-port augusta-albany section on my own in 7 days. I'm planning on doing around 700 km per day with a day rest near Fowler's Bay or the like.

Having never done the nullarbor trip, is this realistic on my own? It seems realistic based on the other trips I've done, but often nuances of a route dictate a different approach. I'd appreciate someone giving those figures a sanity check.

I'll be in a standard cruiser with a trailer and will be tenting/roofing depending on location. End of May is the general timeframe.

thanks,

Mark

Hi. Seven days is plenty of time to get from Sydney to Albany.

You will have time to explore some areas and then cover some kilometres on other days. You should find plenty advice searching this forum.

Enjoy it!

I would be resting at Streaky Bay rather than Fowlers Bay, no comparison!
