Mick,

Much simpler to add a USB GPS Mouse to your laptop.
Something like the GlobalSat BU-353 USB GPS mouse is very simple but very good and takes its power via the USB port on the laptop.

It's currently available from the ExplorOz shop for $98

My son got his 6110 nokia gps phone
to blue tooth the gps to his asus laptop to run oziexplorer ok.
He dowloaded an application of the net,to update the phone.

you will have to configure your com ports for ozi to the blue tooth ports.
