Tomorrow morning we are off................ Troopy's ready, we're ready, roads are ready......

Out through Thargominda to Cameron Corner then up the Bore Track to Innaminka. Then to Birdsville via Cordillo Downs. From there we'll see........ maybe Bedourie/Boulia/Winton/Longreach, or maybe Windorah/Quipie/Charleville. Depends on the mood and possibly road conditions.

Will be away at least 4 weeks, probably 6, perhaps more, who knows?

So if any of you spot us on the track c'mon over and share a beer.
Look for a Troopy with an ExploreOz sticker on the windscreen.

Willem, will you be in that area? I promise I won't mention Len Beadell...lol

Allan,

Look out for mobs of Pigs and Goats when past Bollon. My Father was out around Cunnamulla yesterday and came across quite a few mobs in the middle of the day.

Thanks Kev, I'll keep a close watch.

I'll also tip-off my son who works 3 weeks at Thargomindah and 1 week at home on the Coast. He goes back on Monday.

Cheers

By the sounds of it they were not real keen on moving from the road verges for oncomming vehicles.
The recent rain must have bought them into the area, although Goats are usually seen in that area.

Sounds like a great trip Allan. 19 sleeps for me and I'll be out there too. Enjoy and safe travels. Will look forward to a trip report.

Cheers Mick

Oh, rotten luck Willem.

Mind you, Lennie would not offer you a beer..... he didn't touch the stuff.

Some other time maybe?

Have a great trip and keep safe.
