Has anyone driven the Guineacor Fire Trail in the last 6 months. I drove it about 7 years ago, it was great but just looking on the web to find where to enter it (forgot, getting old! ), a few trail bike riders say its a shocker now, condition is very poor. It is between Marulan andWombeyan caves Road, NSW. You can view it on Google Earth if anyone is interested, it is a great day out.. Michael

G'day Michael

Is the track you refer the left at the crest of the hill about 10km's westbound out of Goodmans Ford (up and out the bends just as you decend down into the Caves)?

At this point, there is also a track to the right which you can cut accross to Limeburners.

The left track comes out on the eastern side of Taralga

If it is, some mates did it on bikes late last year as a day trip from the WC rd end and said it was OK - reckon there was only one sketcy section but should be OK, if a little tight for vehicles.

A group of us have been planning to make a day trip out of it.

If this is the track and you go for a run, please put up a post and let us know what its like

Cheers

Al
