Alice Springs to Birdsville in late August

I am having to travel solo from
Alice Springs to
Birdsville, for the races, departing
Alice Springs on 26th August. My wife is off to
Sydney for a special function.
Is there any of you that may be going that way about the same time? I would prefer to have company of another camper trailer or caravan, if possible.
After
Birdsville, I plan to go to Innaminka then
Cameron Corner,
Tibooburra, Whitecliffs, then along the Darling up to
Walgett then Mungindi to
Goondiwindi to our son and daughter in law.
Hopefully, there may be someone doing the run somewhere.

The run up the
Birdsville Track is a fairly simple one.
The roads going will be good, due to the up and coming races.
If you are going there for the races, first weekend in September
(I think), then you will have plenty of people heading back, and you may be able to join in.
