Can anyone tell me if Moro
Gorge is worth a visit. I will have two nights in
Iga Warta and was wondering about a drive to Moro
Gorge. I understand a permit is required.
Cheers,
Tim

worth a visit? - yes
However, I believe you now have to get access via the
Iga Warta/Nepabunna community. - as you imply. If you have a bit of time, may be a full day at
Warraweena, or up to Arkaroola - both much more magnificent & spectacular - would be preferable, in my experience.
When I last travelled that road about 2 years ago there were no signs. If you did not know exactly where to turn off the Wertaloona Rd, you'd miss it easily.
Cheers

Moro
Gorge is worth a visit for sure. Drop in the the
ranger station at
Balcanoona. They should be able to set you right. Also, Chambers
Gorge is great, although access is somewhat restricted these days I believe.
Also worth a look is the PAR that goes to
Artimore.
