Artimore was once a thriving sheep station high in the mountainous area above
Blinman in SA. It now remains as a few
ruins. There are plenty of camping spots around the
ruins and surrounding area which is largely local native pine. There is a challenging local Public Access route which accesses this area or you can pay to do the 4wd circuit through locked gates from the Angorichina Station. The PA
R will take you on from here, through Hannigan's Gap via the creekbed, through to Moolooloo Station and the
Glass Gorge road. A very picturesque couple of days can be spent in the area. There is also acess to
Patawarta Hill via Patawarta Gap. This is only a dry weather area and there are several gates to open and close. One must always remember to do the right thing when travelling through private leasehold land.
