In what quite possibly could be a fit of madness, i am going to attempt to go from
Sydney to Kempsey via the Forstry's trail mid next week. The route i will be taking is essentially the same as the Forestry's trek on this site with some minor diversions.
My question, is there anybody here that has recently been on any of the trails (primarily post deluge), or is there anyone that actually lives out that way that may be able to give me an indicaition of road conditions,
bridge conditions etc.
I am hoping to make it the whole way and update the trek notes as i think this will be a most interesting and picturesque part of the world.

Try contacting the Raymond terrace 4x4 Club in the Hunter valley as they appear to have a lot of experience in that area north of
Newcastle and that could be of benefit.
