Is Macca feeling the cold??

We are still in shorts and singlets up here during the day LOL

I think there have been a few past threads about fitting heaters, I'll see if I can find some for you.

Cheers Kev

Steve

I know nothing about heaters, but if you are looking for an enjoyable night out in Cunamulla, yeh, I know a bit surprising, but the caravan park in town has a good 3 course meal around a camp fire every Wednesday.

We were there for 3 weeks and went every wed night. BYO.

SWMBO and I have a Webasto in our campertrailer..
Fitted it myself without any problems (comprehensive instructions are included)..
Permanently plumbed to an under-belly diesel tank, and while travelling, I have the air intake & exhaust ports blocked off to prevent dust ingress.. takes a minute or 2 to connect intake & exhaust flexi pipes ready for use..
Only downside is that the exhaust is quite audible, and may disturb others camped in close proximity.. The ($40 extra a coupla yrs ago) silencer does what it claims to do, to the extent that people with excellent hearing claim to be hardly able to hear it while standing right alongside the thing.. Knowing what I now know, I'd have pushed to have this (very necessary) accessory included in the purchase price..

In a nutshell, we wouldn't be without it!!

G'day Steve,
retail outlets seem to be pretty thin on the ground..

From memory, SWMBO ordered by 'phone direct from the Sydney office

Contact details here

As I recall, service was excellent, w/- the unit delivered within a couple of days:)

Regards, Ed C

Steve,

Another one to consider is the Dometic Eberspacher D2 diesel heater. We have one installed in our van with a 12 litre tank and extra outlet in the ensuite. Certainly makes life toasty on those freezing cold mornings......
