G'day Richard,
Howard Springs Holiday Park stayed there couple years back, has shade but is 23 ks out of town.
Free Spirit Resort 15 mins from cbd, friends of ours stayed there and said was clean and very good.
Cheers
Baz

We have just had a week at Freespirit. It was very good if you are down near the office end in the shade.
One thing its right under the flightpath to the airport and there is lots of traffic in and out.
Friends were at Oasis which they said was shady and quite nice and give a seniors discount.
They were going to stay at Lee point but after looking and hearing the mossies were bad there changed their mind.

Richard, Do you visit the caravanners
forum?

There was a similar question with a lot of detailed
feedback recently. We will probably try Lee Point, but we are looking for open not shady, and don't mind a bit run down.

Hidden Valley Caravan Park!
The managers are fantastic. They themselves were on the road for a number of years and know what service parks should deliver.
