I have the Aussie wheel from Traveller Industries to move my 6.8 metre boat up the side of the house and into a shed. I purchased the 24 volt machine following a discussion and advice from the couple that sell them. Very pleased with it's ease of use and manoeuvrability. The only issue for me is that the battery box can't be located on the top of the unit so I have to lift it up onto the front of the boat. At the moment, I'm still strong enough to get it up there. When it becomes a problem, I can locate the battery box on the trailer. Call the guy who sells them in Gosnells WA and I'm confident you'll get the right advice, and then you can make an informed decision. The guy has a caravan himself that is about the same size that you have.

Nicko,
You may be interested in a lower cost solution than a 12 volt power drive.
Have a look at the
Hitchdrive
I wish this product was around before I bought my Maco Mule dual wheel.
The Mule works, but it is a hassle to change from forward to reverse and is painfully slow to "pump" the lever while manoeuvring.
Bill.

Nicko, you're going to have to use some punctuation marks in your posts so I know where to stop and take a breath......
