Greetings guys - just though i would share with you- was heading down Camden valley way today(In my 4x4 ) through leppington and the petrol station where i normally get my gas is selling gas refills now for $15 for a 9 kg bottle - its the petrol station thats undergoing major refit ....
No affiliation - just a good cheap price - much better than swap and go- so anyone local should take advantage - i will be bringing my 4 bottles down this weekend now

That's pretty good price.. Not many
places refill anymore around
Sydney , I thought $18 in Toongabbie was good but I think they now converted to swap & go also..

Get a written price then take it to a Bunnings that still does refills and get another 10% off ;)
Cheers Kev

Kev,
The problem is with that is Bunnings are not doing the hard work! The best thing is not to go to Bunnings and go to the little guys who give the best price in the first place.. Eventually Bunnings will reduce their price to get the business.. Its a bit like going to Harvey Norman to buy a fridge and the sales guy tells you to get the best price you can and come back and he will beat it.. I dont think that encourages competition. My thoughts only... Cheers Michael

The Bunnings that is closest to me (
Gladstone) doesn't do refills, but the
BCF does. But then my local Rural Traders is even cheaper again so I still
shop local for LPG LOL
Cheers Kev

Someone is making a motza out of this.
Supagas in
Melbourne sell 100% propane (the same stuff that goes in gas bottles) for LPG cars for 40 cents a litre. There are about 20 litres in a 9kg bottle, that equals $8.
Jim.
