Thanks for the info. You guys sure will be travelling quick.
I'll be with two other vehicles up there around the same time however we are taking 3 weeks to do Cairns to Cairns but will no doubt see you guys on the track.
Have fun, we will?

G'day Richard,

Yes, it is a fleeting trip to the tip. For better or worse, the Great Endeavour does move from place to place with not a real lot of time to spend in each area.

Our entrants and crews are made up of average joe blow. So the objective being that we can show them a little of everything in the ten days. They can then go back to the places they liked with their family/friend's and take a more laid-back holiday, "one day". Most do.

The main attraction is they can take an old 2wd car to places you either shouldn't, or wouldn't with out back up and support. Over the years we have taken them across the Simpson Desert (Rig Rd), Sandy Blight & Connie Sue h/way, The Tip in 1995 and all sorts of other weird and wonderful places. We have one car (an XT falcon) that has done every mile of every rally in the twenty two years it has been going. Not bad for an old jigga!

cheers and safe travels

RB
