Looking for spare parts for toyota 4x4's new and used any decent suppliers in the
Sydney region (other than dealerships)

http://www.terraintamer.com/ They are the biggest I know of in dealing with after market Toyota. I have used them a few times when I owned the old lux.. The only thing I would recomend when it comes to seals is go genuine... Not sure where your located but there is a branch in Seven Hills (western suburbs)Regards Steve

hey Steve I think you might have been thinking of Don Kyatt he is at no 68 powers rd seven hills (02) 9674-6911 www.donkyatt.com.au the guys down there have been very helpful to me over the past few years and I think they some how get gen toyo parts just heaps cheaper and I found them on here also thanks to a E/O member .

I also use some of the Terrain Tamer parts and they are as good as any other aftermarket parts, and cheaper than genuine. They are mostly common suppliers - hoses are Mackay, belts are Gates etc etc
I cut open a few oil filters and the Terrain Tamer filter is like many other aftermarket filters - doesn't "look" as good as the genuine stuff.
