Hi,

I have called a number of parts suppliers to obtain a jack and the tools that come with the hj60 but have run into a dead end. Can anybody help with other places I could try or where I may get alternative replacements for these tools.

Thanks

Owen

Owen,
I had the same issue when I purchased my HJ60 - No jack or handle.
You don't state where you live but I purchsed mine from the 4x4 Wreckers Frankston Dandy Rd in Melbourne. The jack I got looks almost brand new.
$30
The handle on the after market units won't lower your spare wheel.

Cheers
Alan

Thanks Frank,

I live at Gosford, NSW. I would be willing to pay freight on the jack, handle etc, if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Hi Owen:

Have you had a look out at the wreckers along Manns Road at all? I live near Gosford and have found it to be quite a treasure trove at times. I will probably be heading out over there this weekend to find a small tank for a compressor.

Jack see if you can get an old fire extinguisher, either water type or powder (others are heavier because they withhold big pressures, but these ate rated to 150psi)
Alloy is easy to work with in the head of it aswell.

Hi all,

I tried the wreckers, no luck. I came back home and rang most of the wreckers aound the central coast. I then tried about 3 or 4 in Sydney, no luck. Then called a couple in Brisbane. Still no Luck. They all said that they a snapped up very quickly. That is when they get them.

So I thought I would ring Toyota at Wyoming. They don't carry them in stock but can get them in overnight. I haven't ordered them yet as they are quite expensive, $104 for the jack and $45 for the handle. I thought that I would wait and see if something comes up at the wreckers in the next week or so. I don't feel very lucky though.

Hi Owen:
$104 AND $45??? Sheesh !!!! Could be well worth the wait for the Wreckers. Thought you'd have better luck then you had.
