Can anyone recommend a car transport service that will take my car fully loaded with camping kit?

I want to arrange to get my car transported (presumably on a truck) from sydney to adelaide. The problem is I have only found companies that will take the car without any contents. Whereas I need it transported with all my kit loaded inside.

Any recommendations much appreciated.

Thanks
Piers

Finemores sold up years ago, to Toll, and now it's Patricks,

Former trucking kingpin Ron Finemore has marked his re-entry into the transport industry with a haulage business placed into receivership last February.

Mr Finemore's long trucking career appeared all but over in 2001 when Toll Holdings acquired Finemores Transport for $120 million.

But after waiting out a two-year non-compete clause with Toll - with plenty of time at his home in Point Piper and at the races - the 60-year-old said he did not know enough about any other industry where he could invest his money.

"The area you know most about is where you can add the most value," Mr Finemore said.

The Finemore and CVC Ltd co-owned Ron Finemore Transport will pay $6.25 million for Albury-Wodonga livestock and liquid tanker transport company Lewingtons to receivers KordaMentha.

Lewingtons' 160 prime movers and 260 employees operate from country Victoria to Queensland.

With a book value of $30 million according to KordaMentha, Lewingtons went into receivership with $15 million in debts.

I am currently getting my camper trailer shipped from Carnes to Sydney using Ceva. They were fine to transport as long as I removed gas bottles...

You could stick it on the Indian Pacific (train) as long as it's not more than about 1.5m tall (ie. not bigger than a sedan).

Thanks to everyone for the replies - really helpful and much appreciated. I've spoken to the various organisations , and Motorail (http://www.gsr.com.au/) is definitely the one to go for - they are cheapest, and are happy to take the car full of equipment so long as it doesn't exceed 1.57m in height.

Thanks again.
