What is the best brand of globes (hight and Low beam) that gives the brightest light, that I can put in a Landcruiser 100 series without having to change the standard factory wiring.

My research and applied experience has determined that Philips VisionPlus globes are very good.

I'll second that, I have used IPF globes as well and have found them to be overpriced for the quality of globe when compared to the Phillips ones.

I'll 3rd that, I have the Phillips Vision Plus in a Landcruiser 100 series, made a big difference IMO.

German made Philips + whatever you like (30,50 and 80's) as i have the 80's in my 100 series and made a huge difference even though i thought the OEM's were pretty damn good too.they are standard wattages but have improved glass and reflectors in the globe. i also have used Tungsram in the past and had a good run with them also. apart from these i wouldnt use anything else.

I just bought a Xenon HID kit for $20 plus postage here.
It took about ten minutes to install each side. The old H1 low beam lights in the LX470 were pretty dim. The new 5000K HIDs are unbelievable, and are only 35W as opposed to 55W for the originals.
The cost is comparable to fitting the Phillips globes.
I am not sure what headlights the 100 series has- if it has H4 hi/lo beam globes the kit is $49.
