NEW TRIPS, NEW SEASON & NEW ‘MYSTERY’ 4WD!
Pat Callinan’s 4X4 Adventures is set for another cracking season, with filming due to start next week.
The destinations have been finalized, and are dead-set tantalizing to the four-wheel driver. The first trip has a bit of everything, from the world’s whitest sand around
Esperance, to the world’s reddest dirt near Kalgoorlie!
The expedition then heads north to film two whole episodes on the mighty
Canning Stock Route! 2000 kilometres and 23 days over some of Australia’s most remote, and roughest 4WD tracks. It’s one of the few times that a professional film crew has been unleashed on the entire length of the Canning, meaning the images will be savoured by four-wheelers for years to come.
The crew then heads down
the Tanami Track to the Red Centre, visiting icons like Kings Canyon and
Palm Valley. Then it’s off to the majestic
Barrington Tops on the Great Divide, followed by Tasmania.
This year, the new one hour format is sure to appeal, and with a prime-time slot on ONE HD plus another Sunday afternoon airing on TEN, more people will be watching than ever.
Pat will also be changing the vehicle he’ll be driving, and this announcement will be made next week once the new contracts are in place. But let’s just say that the remote tracks won’t give these rigs any trouble!
