Anyone got any info on Beatrice
Hill Rest Area on the Arnhem Hwy enroute to
Kakadu (preferably pics). Due there in a couple of days with two 20 foot vans for an overnighter and haven't been able to Google up much at all.

Looking in the Camps 4 book (with
camp snaps) looks like you are talking about "Window on the Wetlands"
free camp. Overnight
parking area 31km E of Stuart Hway or 52km W
Bark Hut Inn. It has shade, Picnic Table, No Pets, Nice outlook, Site close to Road. Sorry no Pics in book.

It's number 166 in Camps 5 and definitely called Beatrice
Hill Rest Area.
Window on the Wetlands is 165 and appears to be 1 KM east of Beatrice.

about 40 ks down the road is the
mary river boat ramp plenty of room and nice and shady it is a few ks before the
bark hut just before you cross the
mary river on your right heading out to
kakadu
