Hi All,
Thanks to Colin for putting on another great adventure up in the Blue Mountains.
Had a great turnout with 16 vehicles and I think 34 people.
Seems like all had a great day including myself who was nursing a bad hangover after watching the Wallabies at the Stadium, and apologise for turning up very, very, very very late. Thanks everyone for waiting
Unfortuanetly the pics also tell the tale of a hangover but I have uploaded a few to see at Blackhand trail 23 August 2009

Again Thanks Colin for a great day

Peter

I agree Peter,

A big thanks to Colin for organising this day, my wife and I met some great people and really enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunately these days are too short and too far between, we will certainly be there next time.

Thanks to Colin and all.

Regards
John & Pill

Great Pix AGAIN Peter
but one or two other pix are not in your list, such as a brand new V8 TD ute that only had 200km on the clock, doing the wombat holes and getting its first of many muddy drenching.

Thanks to all that attended, in no particular order: Boldjack, Madfisher, Michael (Moss Vale NSW), Extfilm, John M (NSW), Tonbon, the girl herself Toadkeeper Jo, Donks1, Izey76, Rob S, Wherehegon, Wisey ++++ a few visitors and friends
Apologies to any I missed as there were a lot of cars and people that attended.

Thank you one and all for making the trip worth while, Renate and I had fun. Jo said to me later at home that she didn't want to go home to Qld. she enjoyed her Sydney welcome so much.

On a serious note Wisey's daughter suffered a scalding from water out of a flask she opened and spilt on herself. Andy took her to Lithgow hospital where she received wonderful attention according to Andy, on her release from hospital he took her to Mecca's Lithgow for anything she wanted to eat. Her dressings will be changed again today and we all pray that she will not be scarred from these burns to her lip neck and shoulder, Andy if your reading this please offer your daughter our best wishes for a blemish free and healthy recovery.

Great day, great bunch of people, no breakdowns or damage, a good day out I would say, thanks to all that attended.

We will have to do another trip soon for Wisey and hs brave little girl, who miss out on the fun, she will be the guest of honour for her bravery on Sunday.

Colin.

Hi Colin. once again for organizing a great day out. We all had fun and the extra 3 vehicles that tagged along with me also had a great time and some even interested in becoming members of exploroz... None were in trouble for the dirt and mud from there other halves even though they were warned before leaving home (no dents or scratches)... Was great to meet a few new faces to put with names with. Wife had to sit through me playing back the video I had taken of all the vehicles going through the wombat holes.. Will try and work out HOW to put onto computer then youtube or one of those websites. Haven't done it before and not if I can as the camcorder is not digital ??? few years old now.
To Andy, hope your daughter makes a full recovery from her nasty burns and isn't scared in any way. Was sad to hear it happened in such a freak way just by moving it out of the way. All the best for her.
PS left the $150 on your dash LOL Regards Steve M

What a top day it was! had a great time!
I left my paj at Colins. It wasn't until we hit the dirt that I started getting itchy to give my paj and muddies a play! ah well...
Thankyou to everyone who came for the day. It is always hard to talk to everyone when there is a big gathering but the company of all was great.

Peter our resident photographer never lets us down, even when he is seedy and to the hospitality of the whole Pryor family while I have been down here has been awesome! love you all and want to be adopted!

What an absolutely fantastic day, Denise and I had an absolute ball and it was great to meet you all. Colin did a fantastic job organising and guiding us through the day and the lend of the handheld UHF was much appreciated.

Wherehegon, would love to get a copy of that Wombat Holes video to see from your perspective how Miss Turtle (my truck) handled the Wombat holes.

Andy, both myself and Denise offer our best wishes to your daughter and hope she makes a full and scar free recovery. Look forward to a trip in her honor.

To everyone else, thank you for your hospitality and putting up with my endless questions about various equipment on your vehicles.

Cant wait for the next trip and i hope to see every one of you there next time.

Cheers, Tony, Denise and Miss Turtle.

Thanks for your vote of confidence on the day Tony, it was a good turnout.

Love your tag, very appropriate in regards to your efforts on the wombat holes in Miss Turtle.

Hi all
Another great day. Thanks to Colin.
Hey Peter the hangover is a week excuse to be late.
It was just a well executed plan to gain maximum effect
to make a grand entrance to show off the new truck.
how long did it take to clean all the drool off. LOL.

Hi Tony, aka Colin and extended EO family. We Thankyou ALL for your good wishes for Renne.
Here's a rundown
Just to let you know we made it to the hospital ( tyres were squealing a bit on 20psi, funny that) and Renee got treated straight away, the staff were great, it pays to get these things done early in the day, before the rush, LOL. We both learnt a lesson today. Walked out at 1pm and off to maccas for a treat after the ordeal, but nothing beats the hospital jelly and icecream and iceblock.

Some blistering on bottom lip and down neck on collar bone area, so far so good but today the dressing was changed and she was scared to go to the doctors, but they were great also today. The nurse wasn't as scary as she imagined. Renee is ok to go back there, we don't have to go back to Lithgow.

Thanks again for your help Colin and the lady that attended also, and held my car door open, sorry I didn't get your name but thankyou too.

Renee has read this post and is not sure about being the guest of honour, (Why do they want to do that for?) but her and Mum say a big thanks for caring

So until we meet again, thanks for organising and safe travels. I hope your day was most enjoyable.
I, Renee say thank you for praying for me and finaily I went home.
Love from Renee and Andy.

Thanks to Colin for puting on a great day. It was so good to meet everybody. So glad I decided to join you all. Just got back from MERIMBULA where I delivered the Prado. Drove from Bathurst , Oberon, Goulbourn, Cooma, then down Brown mountain . The view from the lookout was amazing. Del the Prado, got in the xr6 and made it back to Crookwell where I called it quites because of Roos. Did nearly 900ks for the day. Now got to go to work buggar.
Cheers Pete
