Hi fisho. I came down through the Murchison settlement from Gascoyne Junction last week and the flowers were out in their billions.
First time I've ever seen them like that and well worth the trip.
Cheers.
Alan.

Magic photos, was in Mullewa weekend before last only to the golf club the flowers between there and town were fanstastic .We are doing a trip from Geraldton on Monday through Mullewa to Coalseam ,Ellandale pool and home .
The word is Coalseam is best in many years.

Hi get outmore, we are headed off on Thursday morning, going up to Paynes Find, cutting across to Yalgoo, Mullewa and back home through Mingenew, round trip.

Sounds like we are in for quite a show.

Thanks for the photos

Cheers

Some 50 or 60 kms (check) north of Wubin on the way to Paynes Find, if you turn right, down Goodlands Rd for about 15 kms (if that) you are almost guaranteed to see several Wreath Flowers.

Great photos, pity they are so far from Vic... Its been a good year all over, about a month ago we some how ended up at the Louth Races (on the Darling NSW) and the flowers were fantastic.. the inside of the race track was just a sheath of purple .. put Randwick and Flemington race tracks (in Spring) to shame.

Been to WA on many occasions but always too early for the flowers. I just showed the pics to my wife and she has gone to bed in a "huff" I guess we will have to get over there again. Last time we went through Mullewa (Easter 2004) it was bare dirt and we were the only ones in the camp ground.
